The Libyan House of Representatives recently issued Law No.10/2023 regarding Commercial Arbitration. This law regulates the procedures relating to arbitration in commercial disputes. The law also discusses electronic arbitration as well as arbitrational awards. This law represents a significant milestone in the development of the Libyan legal framework. Dr Majdi was heavily involved in drafting this law and was a key player in doing so.
