Abdullah Dow is a seasoned academic, who is currently studying for his PhD at the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies. He was head of the Law Faculty at Zaitouna University for two years, as well as having many research papers published in the legal field. In particular he has written research papers on arbitration, one of which he presented in the international arbitration conference held in 2023 in Corinthia Hotel in Libya. He has also been involved in many committees as a committee head at Zaitouna University. He was head of the committee for reviewing the internal regulations at the university. His experience has also been called upon by different arbitration centres, where he has been involved in the internal set-up of such centres. As Senior Associate at ALF, Dow has been involved in drafting and negotiating many agreements. He is known for his rational thinking, and his advice is always taken with great respect by his clients. He specializes in Commercial law, arbitration law, and labor law. He was also involved in the drafting of the Arbitration Law which was issued in 2023. Alongside this, Dow has also taken a lead when it comes to training, and has been responsible for many training workshops for legal professionals working in the public sector.
