Naser Almouzoughie has worked for several international organizations such as the UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) and UNICEF.
Previously, he served as a legal advisor to the Ministry of Finance and the General Authority for Culture. He also served as a faculty member teaching Administrative Law and Financial Law in institutions such as the University of Tripoli, Al-Murgab University, and the Police Academy.
Almouzoughie ’s main area of practice is in both international and domestic investment work. Also, he specializes in Administrative Law and State Financial Law. Furthermore, he provides our clients with legal opinions in employment, benefits (pension and insurance), and business immigration matters. He has gained vast experience in strategic HR-legal consulting, business set-ups, business integration, and restructurings, outsourcing, employee consultation (ER), pension, investigations, executive/board room terminations, as well as litigation in those areas. He advises our corporate clients on employment issues arising from business restructuring and mergers & acquisitions, including employment due diligence. In addition, he can advise on managing employee terminations, particularly complex exit negotiations, as well as employment contracts, executive compensation and benefits, workplace policies, employee relations, workplace grievances and investigations, ethics and compliance, safety and health, and work injury claims. He is also able to advise on the protection of employer trade secrets and confidential information, HR personal data protection, industrial relations and collective bargaining, and global mobility and immigration.
Almouzoughie has developed extensive knowledge and understanding of the Libyan legal system, this awareness has given him the ability to achieve early resolution of disputes through structured negotiation, intercession, risk management, and contract compliance measures.
